Jean Brown Research is conducting a clinical research study for an investigational lower back pain medication.

Low Back Pain Basic qualifications are:

  • 18 to 75 years old
  • Male or Female
  • Healthy
  • Needs to have had pain for 3 months
  • Needs to have been on pain medications for past 4 weeks
  • No neuropathic pain
  • Not under litigaion
  • Can make it into all study visits

Four out of five adults, at some point in their lives, will experience lower back pain. Lower back pain is still one of the leading causes for physician visits in the United States.

With most cases of low back pain, pain can typically be linked to either a more general cause – such as muscle strain – or a specific and diagnosable condition. Some of these conditions include; Scheuemann’s kyphosis, diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis, spinal disc herniation (“slipped disc”), degenerative discs, apophyseal osteoarthritis
